It’s Donks versus Lowriders in The Crew Motorfest as the Season 4 face-off commences. Which community will you join?
The Crew Motorfest Season 4 is all about the East Coast as they go head-to-head with the West Coast, iconic brands pitting themselves up against each other. New gameplay features come to the fore too, alongside new events, vehicles and quality of life improvements.
East or West?
The Crew Motorfest has been one of our favourite racers since release back in 2023, with the sheer variety it brings something that excels in our eyes. And when new seasons come along, those excitement levels increase some more – that’s the case with Season 4.
On Xbox, PlayStation and PC, Season 4 of The Crew Motorfest pits East against West, with 12 new events and more. In the brand-new Donk vs Lowrider playlist, players will have to choose their side, and learn the specificities of each car culture through 12 main events.
Following various workshops and face-offs, you will progressively build a Donk or Lowrider car and impose your own personal style on the game. New gameplay features will also be introduced, such as the “Car Dance”, a rhythm-based game mode tied to Lowriders’ unique abilities, and the “Street Versus”, a performance-based mode between Donk cars on a dragstrip. Completing the playlist will unlock 4 new cars for the players: the Buick GNX El Sereno Lowrider Edition (Street T1), the Buick GNX West Side Lowrider Edition (Street T1), the Chevrolet Caprice Weasel D. Customs Donk Edition (Street T1), and the HOONIGAN Chevrolet Caprice Donk (Street T1).

Additionally, players will be able to earn a new type of vanity item, dashboard figures, by participating in the Donk vs Lowrider Playlist or by completing events and challenges throughout Season 4. Renowned figures from the automotive scene, such as Ring Brothers, Yiannimize, KRC Japan, and Liberty Walk, will join the festival during dedicated weeks, showcasing their unique visions.
And then for the most adventurous players, a second playlist, “Off-Roading Addict Vol. 2”, will be available for free starting August 14th, bringing new opportunities to explore the wild side of the island of O’ahu.
Season 4 also brings an exciting lineup of 29 new vehicles, including 22 cars exclusive to The Crew Motorfest, and 7 from the latest updates of The Crew 2 – that players can import for free using the Collection Import feature. At launch, the long-awaited Audi RS6 Avant (Street T2) will be available alongside its version customised by Yiannimize (Street T2), the Buick GNX (Street T1) and the Chevrolet Caprice (Street T1) included in the Year 1 Pass. The Ford Mustang Dark Horse 2024 (Street T2) will be added on 31st July.
Rolling out today
If you have a copy of The Crew Motorfest, then Season 4 should be rolling out as a free update today. If you don’t, hit up the usual digital stores and sort things out. We’ll point you to the Xbox Store.
And to celebrate this last Year 1 update, a couple of Free Weekends will be available, spanning from 4th July to 8th July on PlayStation (PS5, PS4) and PC (Ubisoft Connect, Epic Games Store), and from 11th July to 15th July on Xbox (One and Series). With this Free Weekend, players who have already used their five hours of Free Trial or participated in other free phases can extend their playing time.
