FROGUE merges all the genres with launch on console

FROGUE
FROGUE – now on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch

Having picked up some acclaim via a Steam release, FROGUE makes waves on console, merging together pretty much all the genres you could imagine, as it launches on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

Available today as the latest from a busy little QUByte Interactive team, as they pick up the creation of Wired Dreams Studio, is FROGUE – a stylish, turn-based action platformer that – somehow – manages to combine in some roguelite, bullet-hell, time manipulation features.

Ready to take the leap with FROGUE

Priced at £4.19 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S (expect similar on PlayStation and Switch), FROGUE sees you taking on the role of a little frog warrior, Kene Legstrong. Your mission is to try and put a halt to a curse that pops up every 100 years. And you’ll get to sort that via some action, some strategy and some time warping.

If you’re up for a challenge, the combat of FROGUE wil suit. In fact, it comes to console markets with the express intention to prove difficult, demanding, as you try and get to grips with the gameplay on offer.

It’s good then that the game offers up such variety and ideas, letting you jump from wall to wall, make the most of some special powers and more. Only through a combination of strategies will you find success.

Give the trailer below a little watch and you’ll fast understand what is required in the world of FROGUE.

Buy now!

FROGUE is on the Xbox Store, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It’s also on Steam, where it’s been for a couple of months. A new release on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch covers pretty much all bases.

Stay tuned for a review from us.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
