Hack and slash with Ruvato: Original Complex on Xbox

Ruvato Original Complex 1

Kicking back with controller in hand and delightfully hacking and slashing your way through multiple enemies may well be all you want in life. And if that’s the case, and an anime-style floats your boat for good measure, Ruvato: Original Complex on Xbox may be for you.

Ruvato: Original Complex comes from the REMIMORY team, dropping onto Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S with a £12.49 price tag in tow. Should you decide to grab a download of this hack n slasher then you’ll find yourself falling into the life of Ria, the protagonist of the game who just so happens to have magical powers that make her stronger with each swipe of the sword.

You see, Ruvato comes with a pretty unique little mechanic – as you progress through each level, your attacking instincts become ever more powerful. Defeat one grunt and you’ll be hacking away forevermore, but by the time you get to the nth foe, your power will be ever stronger, letting you spin, twirl and fight your way to victory.

There are more than 100 stages present in Ruvato: Original Complex and this unique system will play a part in your capabilities of reaching all of them. Throw in easy to learn yet hard to master gameplay, a sweet anime visual style for those looking for it, and a decent smattering of challenge, and Ruvato could well appeal.

We think you should give our full review of Ruvato: Original Complex on Xbox One a little read prior to dropping the cash on a download. But then, if you’re still sold on the premise will be able to find the Xbox Store capable of sorting you out with a copy of the game. Let us know what you think of it too – the comments are below.

Game Description:

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
